Summer hours:

The MSU Bakers/Food Stores will be open the following hours this summer from Monday May 5th thru Friday August 15:

• 6:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday thru Friday on normal University business days.
• Emergency needs between 3:30 and 5:00pm may still be handled by calling Food Stores Purchasing at 5-0273.

MSU Food Stores provides purchasing, warehousing and distribution of food and food service items to the division of Housing & Food Services, and to the university at large. The largest operation of its type in the country, Housing & Food Service serves about 35,000 meals a day in 14 cafeterias on campus and houses more than 14,000 students during the regular school year.

Food Stores also supplies Kellogg Hotel & Conference Center, the MSU Union, MSU Bakers, Sparty's Cafes and Convenience Stores, and MSU Concessions.

Food Stores hosts an ordering system for H&FS users on its IBM iSeries, and operates a web-based system for academic units and other occasional users.
